A question

Well, I've a question. I'm frankly really thrown by the behaviour of the official Highlander store (legendaryheroes.com). I've tried to order twice (as crazy4rog generously allowed her address to be listed as a shipping address). It did not work the first time - order was just voided without an explanation. No billing my credit card, nothing.
Tried the second time. On Nov, 3rd. As of today, the order is still listed as 'pending approval', the amount has been voided, no billing my card, no answer to my enquiry by e-mail. Tried calling them today. No luck - first time put on hold and then disconected. Second time get an automated message reciting the times when to call and would I like to leave my name. And crazy4rog says it should be 1 p.m. there - so a right time to call. WTF is up?
Anyone, suggestions? Should I cancel the order now, try somewhere else (amazon.com?) and hope they won't wake up and decide to charge me anyway? Should I practice a virtue, namely patience (never had much in me)?
What are your experiences with that place?

The HL store is notorious for being wacked. Sometimes they do thing right and you're happy, and sometimes they are completely incompetant. They call me - a lot - and one day I said okay, sure, you have all this stuff on sale, and xmas is coming up, so I'll buy a few things. Added up to quite a bit, as I recall. They took my order and all my info and everybody hung up happy. And then....nothing. Nothing ever arrived. No charges to my credit card. When I log onto the site there is no record of the order. ??? I haven't ordered from them since. Although they call weekly. ;P

Hmh... tried repeated calls. I hear them well, they - apparently?- don't hear me??? Oh, well, have tried another way. I hope they get a little less customers in the future, so they'd have time to deal with the excisting ones *eg*.

Well, if nothing else works, I'll have to try that. But I think that perhaps we hit another solution with crazy4rog. Hopefully that'll do it.

yeah. What were you trying to order? I've had very good luck and shitty luck. But all in all, I've done okay by them.

I wanted to buy the boxed set of all HL seasons...well, have been trying since October. The thing that bothers me is just taht they don't explain anyhting nor answer enqueries. Oh, well, maybe better luck the other way.

Yes, I'd try patience for the time being, then a letter bomb an angry letter later. They can't very well hide from the postman, too, can they?

Well, but they can leave it unanswered, like e-mail. The letter bomb option sounds tempting though...something that would explode into a soft enveloping cloud of stink, for example..
