...idly browsing Oglaf and coming upon this little seasonal gem http://oglaf.com/solstice/
Now, that's a solstice celebration I approve of.
calime: Rodney on the ground hands covering face John griping his shoulder and bending over him (Rodney&John)
...because I looked at THIS and thought. "Well, that is about half of the SGA stories out there..." Well, and some other fandoms, too. It is probably also one of my favourite narrative kinks:)

You are a dog
Or maybe you are a mosquito, you certainly can't be human.

The highest pitched ultrasonic mosquito ringtone that I can hear is 21.1kHz
Test your own hearing at Ultrasonic ringtones

Pretty weird is that I can hear everything up to and including 18.8 kHz, then can't practically hear 19.9, but hear 21.1 pretty well. Can't hear 22.4 at all, though, as the higher tones make me feel pretty unwell, I can distinguish 22.4 when it playes for a couple of seconds on basis of the icky vibrating feeling I get in my head and chest.
ETA: [livejournal.com profile] lithium_doll was dead right (see comment) - the 22.4 kHz one is quiet and I can't feel anything if I don't listen to others for several times first. But the repeated listening of others still feels icky.
[livejournal.com profile] dresta11 gave me this link, but here I can hear all frequencies, though 17 kHz seems to be the hardest. And weirdly, there she hears all of them too, but not in the first website.
