I have something that should probably be called 'a date' late-ish in the evening. Quite a rare event that makes me go 'Huh'. I'm not fluent in date-ish communication.
If everyone was careful all the time, us strange people would never find each other, because we'd never see each other behind the masks. Wouldn't it be horrid if you acted all nice and "normal" and the date would think you're far too vanilla for them because *they* are a rampant geek with kinky roots?
Definitely true, yes. Though in this case, I already knew beforehand that he was a kinky geek:) I mean, the fact that the initial contact happened at a kink site is quite an obvious clue *grins*. Is just that so few of these things ever lead to anything developing inRL and for some reason I tend to feel faintly guilty for trashing another's possible hopes. He was nice enough, and quite fluent in some species of geekspeak, but just..wrong smell. And I'm not sure male persons tend to get over being rejected as sexual objects so's they could be retained as fellow geekfroends. Though we had fun talking. Ah, well, that's life, says Cali and goes back flirting with a nice girl online. Maybe it's really better to smell them first and then homegrow your own kink:) Actually, I'm not sure what has prompted my recent (rather unusual) drive towards any kind of officially recognised human mating rituals. Maybe I have too little to do. It'll pass, likely, 'cause I'll discover once again that I just cannot be arsed with that kind of thing.
