A looong questionnaire meme gacked from [livejournal.com profile] mogwai_do

1. What bill do you hate paying the most?
Electricity, 'cause I always forget the due date.

2. Where was the last place you had a romantic dinner?
What's that?
If you mean 'dinner as in a something resembling a date', well, I think it was a local pub called Kissing Students. A couple of years ago. Not sure about the 'romantic' part though.

3. Last time you puked from drinking?
Um, must've been some ten years ago during the calibration process. By which I mean 'how to drink together with guys from work while avoiding doing the same damage to oneself as they do'.

4. When is the last time you got drunk and danced on a bar?
Do I really need to get drunk if I decide to dance on a bar?

5. Name of your first grade teacher?
Mrs. Naarismäe.

6. What do you really want to be doing right now?
Sleep. Read. Load the horse into a trailer and drive to Saaremaa, where [livejournal.com profile] dresta11 needs help in building fences.

7. What did you want to be when you were growing up?
At age 4, a dragon or possibly a knight's best buddy. Who wouldn't get killed.
At age 6, a doctor. Or possibly something to do with books.
At age 13, in the order of decreasing improbability:
musketeers together with my best friend, having adventures
or
NOT anyone having anything to do with bookkeeping or macroeconomics
or
something interesting to do with animals, science, getting to know how things work and reading lots of books while having as little as possible to do with people.

I think the last wish mostly worked out, 'cause I'm a veterinarian now.

8. How many colleges did you attend?
Colleges?
I'm European. That means university. One.

9. Why did you choose the shirt that you have on right now?
It's got yellow borders and says, "OPEN 24 HOURS". Also, is comfortable and was on top of the clean ones.

10. Gas Price?
Keeps growing.

11. If you could move anywhere and take someone with you?
Great Britain maybe...or just west coast of Estonia.
Or any place [livejournal.com profile] dresta11 and I could have a horse farm, without, you know, actually starving. Plus, it's gotta have internet.

12. First thought when the alarm went off this morning?
"I really need a bigger bed," while squashed between various pets.

13. Last thought before going to sleep last night?
Why can't it be weekend already?

14. Favorite style of underwear?
Thong. I think they're comfortable, OK?

15. Favorite style of underwear for the opposite sex?
Um, clean?

16. What errand/chore do you despise?
Repetitive ones.

17. If you didn't have to work, would you volunteer?
Sure. I'd die of boredom otherwise, plus, I love my work. As in, love being a vet.

18. Get up early or sleep in?
In an ideal world, I'd go to bed 5 a.m. and get up 2 p.m.-ish. Unfortunately, this is not an ideal world. I can get up at 5 a.m., but only for a worthy cause, like taking care of the horses or ...
While still in practice, I liked the irregular hours and I think I was the only one who liked night shifts.

19. What is your favorite cartoon character?
Not sure if I even have one. Maybe the donkey from Shrek. Or Sid, from the Ice Age.

20. Favorite NON sexual thing to do at night with a girl/guy?
Conversation. The rambling, all-issues-compassing, philosophy-dissecting, silly and smart kind. You know, the one where you might hit the Golden Moment.

21. Have you found real love yet?
Not sure what that means. There are people I love, that would make me step between them and any danger. In the romantic sense, no, probably not. Though I have a sneaking suspicion that the 'real love' is something that, if you're lucky, you look one day back upon and realise you've already had from whatever long ago and so can die (comparatively) satisfied. I mean, it's not like there's a huge sign popping out of the ether at the right moment, saying "10 min to your only chance for real love. Turn left on next intersection. Try not to screw up". Or, um, at least I hope not.

22. When did you first start feeling old?
Um, not yet?

23. Favorite 80's movie?
Star Wars original, maybe. Or even slightly earlier, USSR version of the Three Musketeers (that was 1978).

24. Your favorite lunch meat?
All meat's good.

25. What do you get every time you go into Sam's Club? Or Walmart?
Neither of these happen to be around where I live. If you mean any superstore, well, banans and yoghurt, I guess.

26. Beach or lake?
Seaside beach.

27. Do you think marriage is an outdated ritual?
*shrugs* in principle, as a concept, probably not. Any form in particular depends on circumstances. Plus, the definition and motivations behind it are bound to change all the time.

28. How many people do you stalk on Facebook?
Facebook? Um, none.

29. Favorite guilty pleasure?
Guilty? Hmm. I've mostly reached the stage where I refuse to consider any of my pleasures guilty.
Maybe, (fan)fiction and beer, 'cause reading might sometimes consume time that should be spent in doing necessary stuff and beer does have some alcohol in it, so maybe not really very good habit to have. But, I still have a hard time labeling any pleasures 'guilty'. If they made me feel guilty, it'd not be pleasurable any more, now, would it?

30. Favorite movie you wouldn't want anyone to find out about?
I dunno. What does it matter if I like something others maybe won't?

31. What's your drink?
Coffee with insane amounts of sugar and milk.
Juice or smoothies. Especially carrot with buckthorn. Mmmm.
Beer. Especially amber ones.

32. Cowboys or Indians?
Can I have/be both? On alternate days, perhaps?

33. Cops or Robbers?
*sigh* See answer above.
Also, it all really depends on the circumstances. And who the potential compatriots are.

34. Who from high school would you like to run into?
Well, my best deskmate and still-best-friend, but we kinda never lost each other, so...
Other than that? Dunno.

35. What radio station is your car radio tuned to right now?
A local station with more talk than music and with the least moronic DJs available. If I drive longer distances than 10 minutes, I have a CD playing.

36. Norm or Cliff?
Whuh?

37. The Cosby Show or the Simpsons?
Simpsons.

39. Do you like the person who sits directly across from you at work?
Yup. I aim to work in her clinic in the near future.

40. If you could get away with it, who would you kill?
Do I have to? Cleaning up is messy, and I really don't bother to hate anyone so much.
Of course, if someone'd try to seriousl harm or kill me or my friends, then I guess I'd make the effort.

41. What famous person(s) would you like to have dinner with?
Peter Wingfield *g*?

42. What famous person(s) would you like to sleep with?
Hmmm. If you mean "in the sense of a hot masturbatory fantasy", well, there'd be quite a long list of real and fictional people. If you mean as 'in real life', well, ... the ones I'd have a chance to have a normal, meaningful, person-to-person communication with, like in talking and actually liking the person, which, in short,in reality, translates to 'how the hell would I know' and 'nobody, probably'.

43. Have you ever had to use a fire extinguisher for its intended purpose?
No. I feel the need to point out that I haven't actually used one for any purpose it wasn't intended for, either.

44. Last book you read for real?
A fantasy anthology, "Legends II - Dragon, Sword and King". I needed something while waiting for a doctor's appointment, so grabbed it to reread.

45. Do you have a teddy bear?
I had two teddy bears as a child, but I much preferred a, um, teddy fox? A stuffed fox? A fox-shaped ... whatever. Anyways, it was the one I took with me when I left parents', and I still have it. Only have to sew the head back on, 'cause my dog liked it, too.
I also have a stuffed toy that's supposed to be a badger. It's blue-black-white and has a chewed-upon nose and a solemn expression.

46. Strangest place you have ever brushed your teeth?
???
The whole world is strange. In the nicest way, mostly.

47. Somewhere in California you've never been and would like to go?
Never been in California at all.

48. Do you go to church?
Not for services or religious purposes. But I like visiting old churches when travelling, and just for the feel of the buildings.

49. At this point in your life would you rather start a new career or a new relationship?
Well, I rather like my present career. And a new relationship does not automatically exclude all existing ones, so probably a relationship. Though, if I liked the career, why not. It's just another type of a relationship, really, anyway.

50. Just how OLD are you?
Lemme think... 31, according to my passport.
