You are The Star
Hope, expectation, Bright promises.
The Star is one of the great cards of faith, dreams realised
The Star is a card that looks to the future. It does not predict any immediate or powerful change, but it does predict hope and healing. This card suggests clarity of vision, spiritual insight. And, most importantly, that unexpected help will be coming, with water to quench your thirst, with a guiding light to the future. They might say you're a dreamer, but you're not the only one.
What Tarot Card are You?
Take the Test to Find Out.
In other words, I'm sick of damn painkillers that make me fuzzy(also, I suspect I'm a bit allergic to some component) and sick of finding good positions to lie in and sick of having to stay at home when I can do very little except sleep. *glares at the left sciatic nerve* Will have to ask for a referral to a neurologist or a neurosurgeon tomorrow, and who knows how long the waiting lists are. Plus, it feels stupid to sit at home just because I cannot walk without limping and it seems that while sitting down doesn't feel uncomfortable, if I do sit for more than a couple of hours, it is quite uncomfortable afterwards. Still, I mean, there's nothing wrong with my head; well, except the ordinary wrongness. But, cannot very well go to work like that either. I hate chronic illnesses (I guess you all know by now that I'm not a very patient by nature). Argh. And ack. And my dear family sees to have decided now is a great time to escalate their usual, constant-level quarrelling and paranoia onto the next level and again involve me in matters I can do absolutely nothing about other than feel guilty of my incapability of Setting the World to Rights. Being tetchy and half-sick at home is NOT a good time to be afraid of every phone call, too.
OTOH, the Universe delivers love and happiness every day. For example, Peter Wingfield in a silver sleevless top. Dancing. In a wonderful trashy-flashy songvid to Madonna.
Plus, you know what really got me with that songvid? The green-coated docs in the surgery at first, tapping their foot to the music and doind the
And if it turns out that the damn back thingy will be much aggravated by the office job, I'm bloody well going to go back to practice. Not because of the surgery dance possibilities *g* (I'm an internal med kinda gal myself, mostly), but because a)less sedentary work, though maybe not much less backbreaking and b)if one's body gives signals of breaking down in places, it better break down doing what's interesting and what matters. Or something.
