Again, I haven't managed to be HERE much lately...the work is rather intense right now, and for some reason lately i've been needing 12 hours sleep a day to function properly. So, apologies for still not answering the 5 thing meme (it is firmly in my mind, though) and a great thank you! for everyone who commented with good wishes to my whining. I'll try to bounce back up soon.

Meanwhile, as everyone knows that the best cure for feeling like a particularly nebulous sleepy alien goo is memeing, I'll give you the 28 question meme, as most lately seen at mischief5 and holde_maid journals.

1.Your Middle Name: don't have one, either - seems to be a rather American tradition, anyway (My mother did have 3 christian names, though *g*)
2. Age: 33 (So, I'm older. Does that mean I win? *g*)
3. Single or Taken: I'm told being in love will wear off, and after all, we've only been together for 10 years (married for 3). But for the time being, I'm very much taken. :-D
4. Favourite Movie: Probably Lord of the Rings Trilogy.
5. Favourite Song: can't say, there are too many good ones.
6. Favourite Band/Artist: Same. From "Ave Verum Corpus" (Mozart, if memory serves) to some of Zappa's stuff. I like most styles, except the really rough stuff (Heavy and Black Metal, Arnold Schönberg etc. and really loud music - I don't want to get any harder of hearing)
7. Dirty or Clean: I liked your version of the saying *g*
8. Tattoos and/or Piercings: None. I had earrings as a kid, but they grew back, and I didn't care enough to put another hole in.

2. What's your philosophy on life? Not that I really have one spelled out, but I'm very lucky because so far life keeps pretending it's absolutely good... ;-)
3. Would you have my back in a fight? So long as you didn't start the fight, sure thing. Supposing you want back-up. I mean, if you're just facing the neighbour's little kid, maybe my support would undermine your authority. *g*
4. Would you keep a secret from me if you thought it was in my best interest? I'm not likely to think so, but if I did, probably yes. However, I'm not exactly good at keeping secrets...
5. What is your favourite memory of us? Your almost shocked reaction when I mentioned my visiting Lithuania sometime in the course of the next 12 months. *g*
6. Would you give me a kidney? Hmmm, what exactly are you planning to do with it? Not feed it to Fido, no? ......... Anyway, Mischief asked first, you know, so she'd be first in line after hubby. (Can't afford to lose him - he's the cook in this household!)
7. Tell me one odd/interesting fact about you: I still have both my tonsils AND the appendix (caecum?), and plan to keep those. If I do have to give up on any of them, you can feed THAT to Fido, if you like. *snerk*

9. Can we get together and make a cake? Oh, we can stick with the deal you suggested in my questionnaire: I bake, we both eat, you do the dishes. Do you like aniseed?
10. Have you heard any rumours of me lately? Nope. LJ isn't that rumour-infested, really.
11. Do you/have you talk(ed) crap about me? Not that I know of. Outside of jokes, it's extremely unlikely, but, hey, I might not be aware of it being crap. On the other hand, I don't talk ABOUT other people a lot.
12. Do you think I'm a good person? I'm not sure you want to be one *g* but I'll have to disappoint you: fairly good, definitely.
13. Would you drive across country with me? Sure. Where are we going?
14. Do you think I'm attractive? Physically, I haven't the foggiest idea, since I don't know if any of your icons shows you (that's me in mine, btw). I do think you have an attractive mind - naturally, because I have a penchant for sarcasm. :-D
