The novelty doesn't appeal, except for a few people from my flist showing up whom I haven't seen on AIM. I like it because the interface through Meebo and Pandion are much cleaner and nicer than other AIM clients I've used.

Obviously it's not something you'd want to do all the time -- posting anything complicated or long this way would be more than annoying. But I can see it might be useful sometimes, in tandem with LJtalk. I can see chatting with someone and both being stumped on a point of canon or something and saying, "I know, let's talk to the goat," and post a quickie question to the flist. That sort of thing.

Anyway, glad it worked!
