found you through friendsfriends...I guess I tend to look around once in a while and add someone that I find interesting.
About me - what can't be seen on my userinfo? Well, basically I started out on lj as a glad HL fan who found out that despite the 10 years I wasn't really able to get into the fandom and especially the 'net fandom (due to times and location) there still was something to get into. A good friend just kept sending me fanfic links...one day I succumbed, and now have discovered interesting new fandoms, rekindled some old fannish loves and made several interesting aquintances over the net, some of whom I'd call friends, even. And I suspect that I'm just getting sucked deeper *g*.
In RL, I'm a veterinarian who has just stomped off from a University job of 7 years to get some stress relief in a vet supply firm...and is now considering of doing some volunteer work in animal shelters or simlar,'cause I miss the hands-on. I sure don't miss the academic bullshit or stress *eg*.
I am owned by two cats, take care of a dog and a horse, am a coffee-addict, have to have something to read daily and appreciate slash. Also, am infinitely curious.

(see, you dont even know me and you've driven me to the brink of insanity! ;) Of course there are those who would say its a short trip. :) )

Anyway, yes, the information you gave me is above and beyond what I was asking. I was really just looking for a paragraph or a sentence or something that was just a "Hey, I friended you and this is why and who I am." So seriously, thank you - it was great to learn that stuff! :)

Its just so often people friend people and don't say who they are or why and Im always intently curious to know that stuff. :)

At any rate, I am babbling. Im going to go friend you back now. Thanks again for the info! :)
