...or actually two. Good people on my flist, please tell me, wheteher in HL canon Amy ever found out that Adam Pierson=Methos? Also, am I correct in recalling that canonically the Watchers never identified Adam as Methos? Immortals may have a perfect memory, but mine is a bit foggy after ...what's it been...8 years? *gulp*.

No, Amy knew him as Doc or the good Doctor. I'm not sure if they ever said to Amy but Morgan Walker knew him as Dr. Benjamin Adams.

I'm not even sure the Watchers in general knew Adam was immortal. A few individual ones found out, but they had a bad habit of turning up dead. None of Adam's doing of course. *g* But no, I'm pretty sure nobody but Joe ever guessed he was Methos.

In the Watcher CD and the Watcher files on the DVDs, the Watchers knew Adam as Methos via Cassandra's Watcher, during the Horsemen events. Amy Zoll, who took over the Methos project from Adam, was assigned as his Watcher and there was some nasty correspondence she sent to Joe, as well as some interrogation of Joe by the organization. This was added, I think, because one of the writers who contributed to the show also wrote a tie-in novel. Amy Zoll seems something of a Mary Sue.

I despise this premise and consider those hideous water cd entries to be AU. Pooh and double pooh on the character of Amy Zoll.

You write it how you'd like. :)

And ignore an old grump like me.

Perhaps you can make Amy Zoll into someone that we won't all dislike, afterall! *wg*

Don't quite understand the vehemence -- though I dislike Amy Zoll intensely.
I do think it's only reasonable for the Watchers to have recognized Methos/Adam after the Horsemen to-do, especially since Cassandra's Watcher knew about her tracking Kronos (which is how Duncan found him, before Methos set the fire). Cassandra's Watcher must also have followed her to Bordeaux with Duncan. How disreet do you think Cassandra was?

I think the vehemence, as you say, is because of some very nasty stories I'd read set up with Amy Zoll-premise. They left a very bad taste in my mouth, and I've almost got them purged from memory, but not quite totally.

As for the reasonableness, yeah, I think Methos got tagged. Cassandra probably sent them a telegram.

Dear Watchers.

Adam Pierson is Methos.

Wake Up and Smell the Coffee.

No Love, Cassandra.

Hee --
I did sketch out a Cassandra/Amy Zoll story once. They hung out together bitching about men, bitching about Methos, and playing really bad poker. Neither one of them can cook worth a damn. I kind of liked it.

Amy never found out he was Methos - just Doc or Ben Adams. I think she was more intrigued/scandalized that her dad knew and associated with an Immortal.
As for Amy Zoll - I never saw her I screen so I deny the wench exists *hg*.
LOL!

Oh - I do like your wallpaper.
