RIng out the old, ring in the new

I'm with vants at dresta11's Saaremaa farm. There is and will be snow and shoveling thereof, also, furry frosty horses peeking out from between the snowpiles. Dogs are curled up in bed under the duvet. Cats are fat and look like very shiny winter hats. Soon, there will be good food.
So, I'm wishing you all a pleasant end to the old year and a good beginning to the new - and may the new year be better than the last one, always.

It sounds lovely - and kind of weird to me to think that you have lots of snow there, while ours was washed away by rain. (We usually have enough snow to match anyone on the planet!)
