Well, I hope for a fandom place too, but I understand it'll take time. Menawhile, I have grown disgusted enough with LJ to get the hell out. Dropping Basic accounts - well, the people who had basic account as of march 12th can keep it, so far. (Not change up to Plus nad back down, though) No people joining after that time can have a basic option - they can just choose between ads and paid. And I understand the decision from the business perspective, but the fact is that SUP/6A tried to hide the info and then issued an condescending, half-arsed 'apology', when people complained.
