The good, the bad and the LOL!Methoz
Good is having a bath and a functional shower after a showerless week. good is the smell of apples and warm wooden walls in the sun and the grasshoppers singing and the red of the ripe rowan berries and morning coffee and lazy afternoons.
Bad is the whole present strikethrough07 business. Bad is the homophobic acid that some bastards are spewing in the Estonian media presently (we're gonna have the Pride parade tomorrow; I'm not much of a parade person, so I just bought merchandise to support, but now I think maybe I should go next year. Also, I probably should refrain reading stupid shit, seeing as there are reasonable levelheaded good articles too.). The worst is my eldest cat deciding to fall ill, together with a catlike mystery cloak over the nature of the disease. She's not eating, vomited for a while, lost about a kg of weight and looks like a sad brush. The x-rays and the bloodwork was unremarkable, so it might be the stress (all that renovation work is disturbing her). So, fluids i/v and s/c, ranitidine, force feeding. At least since yesterday she's keeping down all that's been fed, but she's quite weak - even peed once on the spot where she was sleeping. So I suspect there will be no travelling anywhere for the second part of my vacation, as I'm nursing Mynock. I hope she gets better.
